The governors are, in essence, the board of directors of the school. They oversee the strategy of the school, hire staff, decide on finance and the funding of the school and its premesis, and are responsible for the allocation of funds from local government.
The governors are appointed to sub committees to oversee each of the key areas of the running of the school, which are shown below.
